Nothing like taking it back to those country roots, which is exactly what Lindsay and Bryce did for their June wedding. For a couple that loves everything country – from hunting to fishing to boating to being outdoors – this rustic country wedding is exactly the party they wanted to celebrate their marriage!

A College Love Story

It all started in college for these sweethearts, when they met at a party. When he first met his future spouse, Bryce thought to himself “She’s a pretty gal”. Lindsay thought Bryce looked like a cute country boy, and she wanted to get to know him better. Looks like she did! Soon after, the two became fast friends and continued to grow closer and closer. Together, they enjoy eating ice cream, watching movies, and listening to country music. Sounds just like the first few notes of a happy country song to me! Lindsay had Bryce wrapped around her finger for years, so of course he put a ring on it.

A Rustic Country Wedding

Lindsay and Bryce’s wedding day could not have been more perfect. The ceremony and reception took place at Wildlife Prairie Park near Peoria, IL, and it was the perfect place for Lindsay and Bryce to say, “I do.” With all the country-lovin’ in their lives, their wedding would not have been complete without a little rustic country charm. The scenery, coupled with the cowboy boots, wooden décor, wildflowers, and the antler cake topper brought the theme to life! The day itself was laid-back, even while radiating romance. It was a blast to see both sides of the family come together for one massive party to celebrate the start of Lindsay and Bryce Ehlers’ new journey. As Lindsay said, it was “one hell of a partay”, and certainly not one to be forgotten!

After their rustic country wedding, Lindsay and Bryce could not wait for their honeymoon. Though the lovebirds had taken vacations with each other’s families before, this would be their first solo trip. They jetted off to the Caribbean, ready to relax and enjoy a few intimate days to themselves. They cannot wait to start a family, and it will be exciting to see the next chapter in this country love story.
