There are few things I love more than an Allerton Park wedding in early fall. What a unique and beautiful location made even better by the true love that Carly and Mick share. Their color theme was blush pink and navy. With the backdrop of the red barn and dozens of interesting statues these colors made for an elegant, earthy, and whimsical feel to their special day. The Allerton Park Barn is the perfect location for a rustic and romantic wedding and is truly unlike anything else found in Central Illinois. From the wooden barrel tables to the wood centerpieces everything was done with the rustic elements in mind. Hints of gold tied the whole theme together to look so effortlessly elegant.
Carly and Mick met at the gym and have continued their love of working out together throughout their relationship. Carly says she instantly fell in love with his smile and his muscles. She knew right after their first date that she was going to marry Mick someday. The couple loves to laugh and travel together. In fact, they went on a mini moon to Las Vegas right after their wedding day and are planning on going on their big honeymoon at a later date. What a cute idea!
Sometimes it can be easy to get caught up in the stress of the day and the rushing around to make sure everything goes as planned; but with Carly and Mick’s wedding everything felt so easy. It was plain to see how easy they love each other, how much their family and friends love them and how much they truly just enjoyed their special day together. But most importantly it was easy to see how excited they are to spend their life together.

Whether it’s four feet ankle-deep in mud, tenderly clasped hands, a happy tear cascading over a cheek, a hair-back laugh or a sun-drenched kiss,
The ones that move you. Bind you. Bring you together and keep you together long after the memory fades.
