I love the traditions of weddings and the way that couples choose to honor loved ones on their special day. Laura and Brandon’s wedding at the Magnolia Urban Garden in Kansas City, Missouri was full of time honored traditions and special touches. Laura wore a pin in remembrance of her paternal grandmother and all the flowers were white in her honor. They also had a sparkly cake topper in remembrance of Laura’s maternal grandmother. Wedding are such a joyous time but it can also be hard to have loved ones that have passed away not there. I love the idea of honoring them so it still feels like they are a part of your special day.
Laura and Brandon also used toasting glasses that were an heirloom on Brandon’s side of the family. I have also seen many couples display pictures of their parents on their wedding day so many years ago to show the history of the family. I think that traditions like these help make your day extra special. It’s nice to add family touches and to have things like the toasting glasses that are passed on from generation to generation.
With the addition of the beautiful traditions and special touches Laura and Brandon’s October wedding at the Magnolia Urban Garden was extra special. Together Laura and Brandon’s initials are BLT so their wedding hashtag was #BLTgetshitched and they had adorable match boxes with the BLT logo on them..how cute! Laura and Brandon were friends before they started dating. One day Brandon tricked Laura into meeting him for a happy hour thinking it would be a big group outing with all of their friends; but no one else came. They ended up talking for hours and the rest is history. Together Laura and Brandon’s initials are BLT so their wedding hashtag was #BLTgetshitched and they had adorable match boxes with the BLT logo on them..how cute! At their wedding in Kansas City it was clear to see how well Laura and Brandon compliment each other and how much they can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together! Congrats to the happy couple!

Whether it’s four feet ankle-deep in mud, tenderly clasped hands, a happy tear cascading over a cheek, a hair-back laugh or a sun-drenched kiss,
The ones that move you. Bind you. Bring you together and keep you together long after the memory fades.
