Anna and Nick said their “I do’s” in a fairytale wedding ceremony in Bloomington, IL on July 16, 2019. Their classic romantic wedding was complete with blush and white tones, personal touches, and an abundance of joy and love!
Anna and Nick first met through Match.com. As Anna says, the old-fashioned way! Before their first official date in person, they texted a bit to get to know one another better, and they instantly hit it off. As anyone in the online dating game knows, it can be scary to meet someone you feel a connection with in person, when you’ve only connected online. Luckily for Anna and Nick, their connection extended off the screen! The couple continued to date, and they knew it was meant to be when they finally realized they didn’t ever want to be a part from each other. Nick loves how goofy and fun Anna is, and he appreciates how much she values both of their families and makes sacrifices big and small for them. Anna loves how Nick can make her laugh, how he treats other people, and that he would do anything for the people he loves and cares about. Seriously, these two are sooo cute!
Since their first date, Anna and Nick’s relationship has been full of love and comfort – from watching Wheel of Fortune, spending time outdoors, visiting family and friends, and simply laughing together and enjoying each other’s company. Their love is so strong and so evident that it is no surprise they decided to tie the knot in a classic romantic wedding this summer! Now, Anna gets to spend forever with her man that rocks the hot teacher lock, while Nick is excited for a lifetime of laughter and witty banter with his new bride.
Awhile back, I was lucky enough to capture adorable photos of this sweet couple for their outdoor engagement session (check it out here). Let me tell you, it was pure magic! But even that doesn’t compare to their beautiful wedding!
Anna and Nick wed in a charming wedding ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church of Merna, and then continued the celebration at a fun reception at Bloomington’s Center for the Performing Arts. The whole day radiated with a classic romantic vibe that would make even the most non-romantic person swoon! With blush and white tones, pops of hot pink, greenery, candles, and fabric draping, the setting was everything this cute duo was hoping for on their wedding day.
Personal touches made the day even more special and unique for the happy couple. Anna and Nick exchanged letters before the ceremony, which is always a special and amazing way to feel even closer to your spouse-to-be on the biggest day of your lives! Anna’s floral bouquet was wrapped with the ribbon used in her grandmother’s bouquet from her wedding in 1941. Talk about bringing some beautiful history into the mix of a modern wedding celebration! During the reception, it was great to see the bridesmaids rocking their own dress styles and jewelry, family and friends dancing like no one was watching, a fun dollar dance, the bouquet toss, and the cute Mickey and Minnie Mouse guest gifts. The whole affair was fun, classic, and romantic. It was so easy to see the love between Anna and Nick, as well as the love that they share with their friends and family!
Can’t wait to see what this exciting couple does next – after their relaxing honeymoon vacay in Jamaica, of course!
