Kathryn and Brett’s ceremony at Eureka Christian Church and reception at The Waterhouse in Peoria was such a romantic affair. It was a true rollercoaster of emotions. There was so much love, happiness, fun, tears and excitement at this wedding ceremony and reception party. I was the lucky one who got to see and capture it all on camera. It was a pleasure to be Kathryn and Brett’s wedding photographer.

A Eureka Christian Church Ceremony

We began capturing the beautiful moments of this wedding from the time Kathryn, who is lovingly called Katie by her family members, started to get ready. She looked gorgeous in her Country Bride couture. Her veil added to the charm. She got her hair done by Petite Maison Salon and make-up by Britt Bolan. Then came the groom. Brett looked dapper and urbane in his Michael Kors black tuxedo. 

When Kathryn’s father lovingly walked her towards the altar, there was hardly a dry eye in the house. Kathryn and Brett’s marriage was solemnized by Rev. Dr. Beth A. Rupe. I got a chance here to steal the couple away for a few quick shots. This good looking couple looked so in love and their photographs came out so well. I also took a few family portraits after this. The pretty bridesmaids in navy blue and the groomsmen in black had their fair share of fun and photographs. Not that I forgot the graceful little flower girl.

The Exciting Reception at The Waterhouse

Before the reception started, I got a good amount of time to spend with the couple and ensure that their memories last forever through awesome photographs. They held each other, hugged, kissed and looked into each other’s eyes with love. As the reception started, the couple cut the cake. The tableware and floral decor was well coordinated with the cream and pastel pink theme.

The speeches came next. They were emotional as well as funny. Where the couple’s first dance was romantic, Kathryn’s dance with her dad was so sweet. It was so emotional. A daughter’s love for her father came right out of Kathryn’s eyes in the form of tears. Brett also danced with his mother, who was simply in awe of her handsome son and kept admiring him. Afterwards, the guests danced for several hours with the couple to celebrate their big day.

I wish this lovely couple a happy and love-filled life ahead.
