Brittany and Matt are college sweethearts. They met at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale the very first weekend after Brittany moved in. Matt had a party at his apartment and they had mutual friends so Brittany wound up there. Both Matt and Brittany say they knew it was meant to be after they got through a hard year in Chicago together after they graduated college. To Matt it was love at first sight; but for Brittany it took a little longer for her to warm up to him but she eventually came to love how caring he is and how much he makes her laugh.
Brittany and Matt’s spring wedding was on a beautiful April day; which made it extremely fitting that their theme was light, airy and springy. Their color pallet included white, gold and blush. The bridesmaids dresses were gold and the bride’s bouquet tied in with little yellow flowers and a lot of greenery. Brittany and Matt were most excited about the fun trolley that took the bridal party from place to place; which also made for some unique pictures. My favorite aspect was Brittany’s incorporation of her leather jacket. It was so perfect and she was able to show of her unique style; again making for some unique photos unlike any others.
Brittany and Matt’s reception took place at the I Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign, IL. Their decor included great gold elements for the center pieces and greenery creating a classic look. They also had a very unique guest book. Each guest was encouraged to sign their guest bench. How fun! After enjoying their special day with all their family and friends Brittany and Matt headed to Jamaica for their honeymoon! Their wedding day was nothing short of perfection and I am sure their honeymoon was just the same.
