A spring wedding for a continually blossoming romance! Brittany and Matt’s warm spring wedding in Champaign, IL was one for the fairy tale books.

Brittany and Matt are college sweethearts. They met at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale the very first weekend after Brittany moved to the city. Matt threw a party at his apartment, and Brittany showed up with some mutual friends. The lovebirds clicked, and dated through their college years and beyond. Although they didn’t know it at the time – they were destined to get hitched years later. *Glimpses into the future to a perfect spring day with wedding bells!* We’re all so glad that college could bring these two beautiful souls together!

While it was love at first sight for Matt, it took Brittany a little longer to fall for her future husband. But come around she did! Yay for falling in love! They both knew it was meant to be after they got through a rough year in Chicago after they graduated college. Now, they are best friends…which is the best way to be when you’re going to spend the rest of your lives together! They love listening to country music, eating pizza, watching comedy movies, and enjoying an ice cream no matter how cold it is outside. Couple goals right here!

Brittany and Matt tied the knot on a warm spring day in April, which perfectly embodied the light, airy, and springy atmosphere that they were going for. Accents of white, gold, and blush were prevalent throughout the flowers and décor to keep with the theme. The bridesmaids even wore dresses of gold and the bride’s bouquet was sprinkled with little yellow flowers.

The entire day shone with Brittany and Matt’s fun personalities. One of the most exciting parts of the day was the trolley that took the bridal party from place to place. Not only did it allow the bridal party to have a good time, it also made for some great photos! Of course, when it came to her wedding pictures, Brittany certainly didn’t disappoint. She incorporated a leather jacket into her attire so she could show off her unique personality. By rocking her jacket and the love for her groom, the couple’s wedding photos turned out both fun and personal!

After the ceremony, the bridal trolley rolled its occupants to the I Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign, IL. The décor maintained the spring and outdoorsy feel, which was enhanced by their guest “book”. Each guest was encouraged to sign their guest bench…useful and sentimental! It was such an awesome idea.

After partying it up with their family and friends, the newlyweds hopped on a plane and flew to Jamaica for their honeymoon. Nothing like a relaxing trip to the beach to enjoy the first days as man and wife!
