Amanda and Nick’s Elegant August Wedding

Amanda and Nick met at Bible study at the church at University of Illinois in Champaign. They both got a ride to bible study with the same person. Later in the evening they talked more and connected over a mutual friend. The couple then went on a coffee date the very next day 🙂 After being together for some time the couple faced being long distance. Amanda says, “For me, when I moved away and we started doing long-distance, there was so quickly such a contrast between time together and time apart. Even when the rest of life was as great as could be, everything was SO much better and so wonderful whenever we were together! It didn’t matter if we were taking a beautiful hike in the mountains or walking through a grocery store.” For Nick it was after a special trip to Colorado when he reflected on what an amazing person Amanda is that he realized that she is the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

Amanda and Nick committed to being together forever on August 4, 2018 at Stone Creek Events Center in Urbana, IL. Having both the ceremony and the reception at the same venue makes the day so seamless and the transition from the vows to the party so easy! Amanda was most excited about the venue, her beautiful dress and the mulberry color she chose for the bridesmaid dresses that helped complete the look of their special day. The theme of Amanda and Nick’s was elegant and romantic! I also loved the special touches like the snacks for the kids, puzzles as a wedding favor and the sparkler send off at the end of the night which made their day extra special. Aside from all those beautiful details Amanda and Nick couldn’t wait to have everyone they loved all in the same place to celebrate!

I’m all about preserving those moments that tell your story.

Whether it’s four feet ankle-deep in mud, tenderly clasped hands, a happy tear cascading over a cheek, a hair-back laugh or a sun-drenched kiss,

The ones that move you. Bind you. Bring you together and keep you together long after the memory fades.
