Outdoor shoots are fun and when you are capturing one of those couples who you already know, the amount of happiness you feel is indescribable. It was such a pleasure when Erin and Bryan called me up on the phone to photograph their anniversary celebration.

It was me who had photographed their wedding ceremony and reception party in September of 2018. They are so comfortable with me by now that photographing them was effortless this time.

Isn’t it lovely when some of your clients call you again to get their work done because they loved your work in the past? More than professional achievement, it is about the human relationship you have established with them.

From being Erin and Bryan’s wedding photographer to be their anniversary photographer, it was quite a promotion for me. Moreover, seeing this couple happy and much deeply in love post one year of their marriage was a pure delight.

Erin and Bryan’s Anniversary session in Bloomington in November was a fun event. They were as inseparable as they were at the time of their wedding. For this session, they dressed up in cool denims and smart sweaters as the weather was cold.

The whole anniversary session was full of smiles, laughter, hugs and kisses. Eric and Bryan held each other lovingly and looked at each other like they just couldn’t get enough of each other. I photographed the couple amidst greenery, experimented with staircases and walled structures. Black and white photos came out cute. Looking at their anniversary photographs, no one would say that they have been living together as a married couple, it seemed the two lovers had met each other after a long time.

I remember how classy and elegant their wedding was. With colors of burgundy, blush, and gold, it was such a lovely affair. The best thing from the time of their wedding till their anniversary session was their goofiness.
