Let’s get #ReadyToRumbold!

Seriously, what a fun hashtag for a wedding. Paige and Nick’s elegant and classic wedding in Peoria, IL this summer was what dreams are made of. Their celebration of love was filled with romance, fun, laughter, and even bubbles. It was, in a word, wonderful!

Small Town Love

Having grown up together in a very small town, Paige and Nick have known each other for a long time. Nick was a senior in high school when Paige was a freshman, and they had the same P.E. class. Paige thought Nick was super dreamy! Nick was friend’s with Paige’s older brother, and they went on a few vacations together as kids because their families are friends. They would always say hi to each other, but didn’t talk too much because Paige was a little shy. Although they didn’t know it at the time, both were definitely intrigued by the other for some time. In high school, Paige remembers thinking to herself, “I wish he would ask me to wear his jersey this Friday.” Nick’s first thought was, “Wow, if only she were 18.” Aw, young love!

They didn’t start dating until Paige was almost done with college, but Paige knew that Nick was the one immediately. She said, “That saying ‘when you know, you know’? SO TRUE!” Besides, having a long history probably helps because you truly know the person! As a couple, these sweet lovebirds are very chill and relaxed. They enjoy laughing and joking around with each other, and simply being together. They like to try new restaurants, go on movie dates, drink Busch lights with their friends at the bar in town, and relax at home with their dog. Paige and Nick are comfortable together, and it was no surprise that they were both incredibly excited to celebrate their love with their family and friends at an elegant and classic wedding this past summer!

Elegant and Classic Wedding

Paige and Nick said “I do” on July 27, 2019 at an elegant and classic wedding ceremony at Living Waters Church in Peoria, IL. They chose not to do a first look, which made the moment Paige walked down the aisle extra special. The loving look they shared was one that could inspire fairytales! After exchanging their vows and walking through a fun bubble exit, the new Mr. and Mrs. Rumbold headed to their reception at the Pere Marquette to celebrate with the people they care about most. Colors of taupe, white, and gold helped expand upon the elegant and classic atmosphere, while the dances, toasts, and intimate glances radiated with love and happiness.

The newlyweds jetted off to Jamaica for their honeymoon, where they could spend their first few moments as husband and wife in peaceful, beachy comfort! Cheers to Paige and Nick, can’t wait to see where your journey takes you!
