Congratulations to these cute newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Deters! Their June wedding at Tuscan Hills Winery was full of love, joy, and excitement. It was so sweet to watch college sweethearts Hannah and Scott pledge their love to each other and celebrate this new beginning in front of all their family and friends.

College Sweethearts

Hannah and Scott met at Millikin University, where they were both attending to play college sports. Although they didn’t actually hit it off at first, these two eventually came around to one another. Obviously, or we wouldn’t be posting about their beautiful Tuscan Hills Winery wedding! It might have taken them a few months to warm up to each other, but once they did, their romantic love story began to blossom.

Once they started dating, it was clear that Hannah and Scott love to have fun and laugh together. An affinity for fun and laughter is a great foundation on which to build a relationship, and this couple’s foundation certainly is a strong one! Together, they love to be outside with their puppies, spend weekends at the lake, and travel. Hannah and Scott also unabashedly admit that they are eaters. They like to eat out and try new foods. Of course, their typical go-to is still pizza and beer, and they will never say no to grabbing ice cream or a milkshake.

A Tuscan Hills Winery Wedding

All of their time spent having fun, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company led to their beautiful wedding at Tuscan Hills Winery in Effingham, IL on June 8, 2019. The ceremony and reception embodied a classic chic vibe, enhanced by the neutral colors, greenery, and white flower accents. The outdoor setting added to the natural and romantic feel of Scott and Hannah’s special day. Personal touches, such as the decorations that Hannah created and the lace around the bride’s bouquet that was from her grandmother’s wedding dress, were the icing on the cake!

While the atmosphere, scenery, and weather made for the perfect wedding day setting, it was Hannah and Scott’s love for each other and for their family and friends that made it special and unique. Throughout the ceremony and reception, these newlyweds couldn’t keep their eyes off of each other. They were all smiles as they had their first look, said their vows, shared their first kiss as husband and wife, cut the cake, danced their first dance, and simply enjoyed having fun with their guests. We captured the raw and natural emotion that is so real on a couple’s wedding day, and they will be able to cherish these memories for the rest of their days.

A Loving Marriage

After their wedding, Hannah and Scott escaped to Jamaica to enjoy the first days of married life with sunshine and beaches. Can’t think of a better way to celebrate! Wishing Hannah and Scott continued joy and happiness as they embark on this amazing journey of marriage!
