Hannah and Scott’s Millikin University Engagement

Hannah and Scott met while attending Millikin University so it was only fitting that their engagement picture were done at the place they first laid eyes on each other. However, Hannah and Scott did not hit it off at first. Hannah says it took them a few months to warm up to each other and eventually start dating. The couple also brought their adorable puppies to their engagement session which made for some great pictures that showed off their little family.

After the portion of their session at Millikin University we went over to Rock Springs Conservation Area. Between the tall pines and the rolling prairie it was a beautiful backdrop to capture the love that Hannah and Scott have for each other. Their whole session was full of gentle embraces and lots of laughter.  When describing what I should know about them as a couple they said, “we love to laugh and have fun.” This was definitely easy to see during their summer engagement session.

Together they love to eat out; specifically places with pizza and beer. One the weekends you can find Hannah and Scott outside playing with their puppies and enjoying time on the lake. Individually Scott likes to watch movies while Hannah likes to read books. But they both love milkshakes and ice cream. They also have dreams of travel in their future. After graduating from Millikin University they went on a week long trip to Italy and in the future they would love to visit Africa!

Hannah and Scott can’t wait to dance the night away at their wedding in June of 2019. Hannah says she is most excited about the decorations because she has really enjoyed being creative with them and she can’t wait to see the whole day come together!

I’m all about preserving those moments that tell your story.

Whether it’s four feet ankle-deep in mud, tenderly clasped hands, a happy tear cascading over a cheek, a hair-back laugh or a sun-drenched kiss,

The ones that move you. Bind you. Bring you together and keep you together long after the memory fades.
