Rachel and Nathan just have that something…that sweet “love in their eyes” look whenever they catch a glimpse of one another. Throughout their city chic Chicago engagement session, the love and admiration that is at the core of their relationship, continued to shine through – from the very first picture to the very last. And their genuine laughter and beaming smiles were ever present throughout the entire time we spent together (even with the early morning start to avoid the busyness of a city day).
Rachel and Nathan love to laugh and can often be found playing jokes on each other. They also enjoy spending time exploring the wonder of Chicago, which is why choosing to have their engagement session in the city was so meaningful to them. And it’s also what made it so tricky to choose which spots to head to for their photographs! They ended up selecting the Wrigley Building and North Avenue Beach for two completely different looks – but both with the very chic city engagement session feel they were aiming for.
Whether hanging out at the beach or trying a new restaurant they always have fun when they are together. Aside from all of the things they love about Chicago, one of their favorite things to do is travel back home to visit family in Decatur, which is also where they will be having their wedding in May. Family is so important to both Rachel and Nathan so they can’t wait for their big day when all their family will be under one roof for the evening. If their engagement session is any indication of what’s to come for their celebrations – their day is sure to include all of the feels, full of authentic moments and so much fun.
If you love Rachel & Nathan’s city chic Chicago engagement session, you will also adore Devin & Alex’s beautiful wedding day and their photographs at Fort Sheridan Preserve and Lake Bluff Beach.
