Billy and Jess met at a bar on campus while they attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Both showed up with a group of friends and just happened to start talking. Call it destiny, or call it a few drinks, but these two hit it off immediately! After exchanging numbers, they officially became a couple within two short weeks.

Before their first year anniversary, Billy knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Jess. Everything he experienced, and continues to experience, with this spunky lady has been nothing short of amazing. From her caring personality to her loving character, Billy says he has learned so much from Jess and has become a better person just by spending time with her.

It seems that caring personalities attract because that is exactly how Jess knew Billy was the one. It was an incredibly difficult time for Jess when her mom was diagnosed with cancer, but Billy stood by her and helped the family in so many ways. From going to chemo treatments to sitting with her mom on the couch and rubbing her feet, it became clear that he was already a part of Jess’ family. Sometimes, it’s the hardest times in life that lead to the most special.

Through thick and thin, good times and bad, the two have found peace together by loving their furry cat baby, watching movies together, eating in their PJs, taking weekend trips to nearby cities, and going to as many concerts as possible.

When their special day arrived, it couldn’t have been more romantic, with the couple smiling and laughing all day!

Jess looked radiant in a beautiful lace and sequin bodice dress, a heart sewn along the inside of the dress near her heart. The heart came from a handkerchief that was a gift from her mother, meaning she was with Jess every step of the way on her big day. Jess couldn’t stop smiling as she made her way down the aisle toward her forever partner, Billy, looking dapper in his navy suit, blush tie, and brown shoes. Surrounded by family and friends, these lovebirds shared many memorable moments, from emotional to hysterical. It was truly a day to remember!

Seeing the love Billy and Jess have for one another was inspirational, and it was an honor to be a part of their day.
