As a Springfield Illinois engagement photographer, and central Illinois wedding and engagement photographer, I love everything about shooting outdoors in the summer and fall. Parks are a perfect place for an engagement session, and Alisha and AJ’s engagement shoot is picture proof of exactly that. The colors of the leaves were on the cusp of changing into the golden colors of autumn. The couple was all smiles and full of love as they were lit up by the warm glow of the sun.

Alisha and AJ went from casual dress, in a sweater and vest for her and a plaid button up for him, to cocktail dress for their second look as they walked by the water and through the cattails. It was a romantic session full of fun, and I’m so happy for the newly engaged couple.
