Falling in love, getting engaged and proceeding to get married are some of the best events of our lives. As time goes by, the images of those memories fade in our minds; it’s only the feeling which remains. That’s why we have photography. Even at a much older age, you can go back to those photographs and relive all those moments of happiness.

Stephanie and Alex I really enjoyed capturing your moments of love and togetherness at your Riverside Receptions wedding in Geneva, Illinois. I thank you two for trusting me and giving me the honor of being your wedding photographer.

Christmas Wedding Photography

Stephanie and Alex got married at Riverside Receptions Banquet Hall. It was a December wedding and was high on Christmassy feels. The decoration was all Christmas inspired. Everything looked so lovely and lively. The Christmas tree, the dinner table decorations, the staircase inside the hall and every nook and corner of the venue was dipped in festive spirits of Christmas. The reception was themed in navy blue, winter white, silver, gold, green and red.

Riverside Receptions Wedding

Riverside Receptions banquet hall was a great choice of venue. It is a unique waterfront wedding venue. With a fantastic view of the Fox river, spacious rooms, amazing food and great service. This venue creates a unique atmosphere for a memorable event. Floral decorations were awesome at the Riverside Receptions. Flowers were white with seasonal greenery and a touch of red berries. There was a photo display of Stephanie and Alex’s parents’ and grandparents’ wedding photos at the venue. This wedding was surely a classy one.

I started photographing Stephanie and Alex from the Herrington Inn, where they got ready. The two were relaxed and enjoyed every moment of it. Stephanie’s bridal gown was a lovely lacy number. Her heels added grace to her overall look. She adorned pretty earpieces. Elegance and sophistication was another name for this bride. Stephanie’s bridesmaids were dressed up in dark blue gowns.

Tall and handsome Alex suited up in charcoal grey, a dark blue tie and brown shoes. His groomsmen dressed similarly.

Stephanie and Alex had their first look at the staircase of the Riverside Receptions hall. Alex’s expressions oozed out happiness. After this, I captured the couple with their bridesmaids and the groomsmen. The December winter background made the photos stand out. I also photographed the couple where the two shared some really love-filled glances.

I took some family photographs after this with Fox River in the background. Alex’s mom looked lovely in her glittery silver gown.

As Stephanie and Alex entered the wedding hall, there was this beautiful music played on violins. Stephanie’s father walked her up the aisle. Alex was overwhelmed to see his bride walk up to him. The marriage ceremony was officiated by Forest Fairall.

I got some great photographs during and after the ceremony. The reception was a fun affair. There was a live band, great drinks and food. The ceremonial dances were so exciting and lively. Close family members all raised toasts to the couple. The guests were also asked to sign an ornament of well wishes.
