Love can knock your doors any day and anywhere. For Shae and Elliot, it came to them during a party. They met each other, fell in love and got engaged. It was all so dreamy. They then decided to capture the celebration of their love and engagement through photographs. I am thankful to you, Shae and Elliot for letting me capture your engagement photos at the Fransen Nature Center.

The Party Which Sparked Love

Shae and Elliot met at an ugly Christmas sweater party back in 2015. They knew they wanted to be together when they went driving together after their date. That day they had turned on the radio and just sang with each other. They were still complete strangers but connected on even the simplest of things. At some point, they both knew it was meant to be, but St. Joe, Michigan became the place where Shae realized Elliott was ‘the one’.

So when Elliot was ready to propose, he took Shae to their favorite spot together, St Joe, Michigan. They had a relaxing weekend full of sightseeing, beach time, lots of ice cream and they went for their mandatory walk on the pier to the lighthouse. When They reached the end, Elliott got down on one knee and Shae cried tears of joy.

Shae adores Elliott’s loyalty to his friends and family. His charm, ability to entertain a room, and the spark he has in his eye when he looks at her is all she loves. Elliott loves the way Shae carries herself. Her demeanor with friends and the kindness she has towards others. Shae and Elliot describe themselves as a super simple, super quirky couple, and they just enjoy spending time together whether it’s with their friends or watching videos for hours at their home.

Engagement Photography

For their Fransen Nature Center engagement photos, Shae and Elliot dressed up so beautifully. Shae wore such a lovely emerald green frock style dress. Elliot chose a grey shirt, black pants and a matching tie. The background of their photographs was not any less attractive. The trees at the Fransen Nature Center were picturesque and added charm to the photos. For another section of the engagement photography session, Shae and Elliot chose to change their attire. They looked great in these outfits, too. The much in love couple held hands, hugged each other, exchanged loving glances and kissed. This resulted in some breathtaking photographs at the Fransen Nature Center. Shae proudly showed off her engagement ring in some of the pictures.

Capturing all these moments was a great pleasure. I hope, Shae and Elliot that you see these pictures even years later and smile the way you did during our photography session. Have a great wedding and an awesome life together!
