When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

For Katie and Brett, the rest of their lives is happening now! Their recent scenic engagement shoot was one for the books. The scenery was stunning with its green fields, colorful gardens, sunflowers, and soaring trees. The lighting, too, was breathtaking, adding depth to each photo. Of course, Katie and Brett were the stars of their own show. From dancing in a meadow to strolling hand-in-hand through fields full of daisies, these lovebirds were all heart eyes and smiles for their other half. Every joyous smile, adoring glance, and sweet kiss spoke volumes of Katie and Brett’s love for each other. Each photo captured their adoration, devotion, loyalty, and love. Between the beautiful landscape and this adorable couple, it is no surprise that their scenic engagement photos perfectly encapsulated their story!

Engagement photographers love shooting sessions like Katie and Brett’s because it is always so great to see the unique love between a couple. Every love is different, and it’s remarkable how that love can shine through a simple camera lens. The other great aspect of engagement photos is getting to know the couple, learning their love story, and asking what the next step on their journey will be. For Katie and Brett, a fall wedding is on the horizon. They are looking forward to hosting their special day on October 12, 2019 in a ceremony at Eureka Christian Church. Following that, they will celebrate their new marriage at a reception at the Waterhouse in downtown Peoria. After that, who knows, but we’re sure great things are in store for this beautiful couple – and this scenic engagement session was only the beginning!
