Aaand they’re married! Congratulations to Lydia and Kaleb Campbell for embarking on the next stage of their happily ever after. After capturing some beautiful engagement photos of this adoring couple awhile back, I was so excited to be there for their magical wedding.

A Beautiful Love Story

Lydia and Kaleb love journeying through life together. They love having deep conversations about anything and everything, taking long walks, listening to local music, jetting off for spontaneous trips, and going to church events. It’s their passion for living that makes this couple so much fun, and part of what led to their magical and whimsical wedding on a beautiful spring day in April 2019.

A Spring Wedding

Their whimsical wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Blue Sky Vineyard, that boasts the romance of Italy in the hills of Illinois. It certainly did radiate romance! Not only was the atmosphere and location stunning, Lydia and Kaleb’s color choices of navy blue, mauve, and silver paired with pearl accents only added to the romantic feel. The couple also made sure to add personal touches that made the ceremony uniquely their own. Lydia wore a real pearl necklace, which had been the first Christmas gift from her groom. She also wore matching pearl bobby pins from her childhood best friend as her something borrowed. Not to be outdone, Kaleb wore handsome pearl cufflinks, and he and his bride looked amazing together! But the magic doesn’t end there. In true Lydia and Kaleb fashion, the couple wrote their own vows, which made for an emotional and touching moment. No dry eyes hear! The ceremony also included a unity prayer, while two of Lydia’s bridesmaids sang Amazing Grace acapella. It was truly a wedding ceremony to be remembered.

A Magical Reception

Following the ceremony, the bride and groom, along with their family and friends, enjoyed more whimsy and magic at the fun reception. Lydia and Kaleb took to the dance floor and danced their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You”, and sent their guests off with awesome favor bags filled with candies!

After the reception, the couple took off to Los Angeles for a much-needed mini-moon. They’re planning on taking their full honeymoon to Portugal and Italy next year. I think it’s safe to say that #itsmmmgoodtobecampbells!
