Corrine and Jake certainly won the love lottery with each other! Their dreamy engagement session took place outdoors, and it was a blast capturing their love story. Joined by their sweet fur babies, the entire session was full of endless love, radiant smiles, and lots of laughter.

A Sweet Love Story

This sweet couple’s story began on a random summer night before their senior year of college. Corinne and Jake were both out with mutual friends for a drink when they locked eyes on each other. From that moment on, their fairytale was underway. Jake asked Corrine for her number, and although she played hard to get at first, she eventually fell for the man who sent her chocolate covered strawberries on her birthday.

As a couple, Corrine and Jake love to travel or hang out on the couch with their dogs. Together, they have been to Italy, Mexico, Belize, British Virgin Island, various states, and they plan on seeing the world together. Their pups are an important part of their lives, and even joined the lovebirds on their dreamy engagement shoot! Corrine and Jake also spend their time eating Mexican food, sipping margaritas (especially the spicy ones), watching action and drama movies, binge-watching all the tv shows, and exploring different restaurants. They are best friends, and this was evident during their dreamy engagement session.

A Dreamy Engagement Session

I’m a huge fan of couples including their pups in their engagement photos, and Corinne and Jake’s fur babies Tommy and Croix made their engagement session so much fun! Corrine and Jake were living on St. Thomas when they rescued and adopted the sweet pups. While en route to a wedding in the states, news broke that Hurricane Irma was on a direct path to their island. They turned around and headed home to make sure the fluffy duo stayed safe during the storms. Although they lost just about everything and endured quite the trek to get everyone safely back to Illinois, they treasured everything that they saved. It was clear during their dreamy engagement session that home is more than just a place on a map. It’s all about love and being with your people (and your doggos)!

Corrine and Jake plan to wed in an elegant barn wedding in July. Corinne is excited for the wedding venue, but she is most excited to see Jake’s face when she walks down the aisle since they won’t be doing a first look. Jake can’t wait to marry the girl of his dreams in front of everyone he loves. It’s sure to be an incredible day!
