I love my job! Capturing tender moments between adoring couples is such a great and unique experience. As always, it was a blast getting to celebrate another engagement with another wonderful couple…this time for Chelsie and Brandon!

These lovebirds met on a cruise. Nothing like a meeting on the high seas to bring a couple together! Both were students on spring break, although Chelsie was going to school in Illinois, while Brandon was in North Dakota. When they first met, Chelsie thought Brandon was reserved and was interested in getting to know him, while Brandon remembers thinking Chelsie was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Are they not the sweetest?? These two hit it off right away and started dating a couple of months later. Through the ups and downs of a long distance relationship, they began to learn what it means to truly love someone and knew they were meant to be.

As a couple, these sweethearts adore spending time together, whether it is being lazy on a weekend, laughing at each other’s jokes, or enjoying something exciting like a Blackhawks game. Food is their thing (except seafood!), and they cannot get enough of going out to eat or cooking a meal together. Of course, this sweet couple also loves to travel together, and especially enjoys a nice cruise – of course!

This past fall, I was lucky to be a part of Chelsie and Brandon’s continuing love story as their Lisle, Illinois engagement photographer. Their session was shot at Morton Arboretum, and the trees served as a beautiful backdrop for the two. Even though it was fall, the pine trees give the sense of winter just around the corner. We had so much fun exploring the different areas of the park, and the entire shoot was full of dreamy looks and sweet smiles. The two could not have made my job any easier as we walked through the Morton Arboretum grounds and took in the beauty of it all.
