Becca and Jeremy wanted their engagement session to take place at the very spot that holds the most meaning for them – their home and the land that surrounds it! What a wonderful idea for an engagement session. Their at-home engagement session was the perfect way to celebrate Becca and Jeremy’s love for each other!

First Comes Love

These lovebirds met at a bonfire at Jeremy’s house. Turns out, no one but Becca showed up! Whether that was on purpose or by chance, we may never know. Fortunately, Becca and Jeremy used that time together to really get to know each other – talking and then going out for a drink. When they first met, Becca’s first thought was that Jeremy was so handsome, impressive, and adorable. Jeremy’s first impression was that Becca was poised, adorable, fashionable, outgoing, and conversations. All great qualities to begin a budding relationship! After their first time hanging out alone together, they were pretty much inseparable!

Together, Becca and Jeremy love to porch sit, go to sporting events, support Eureka College, spend time with family, make sushi, try new restaurants, and watching TV. They like coffee, hot tea, and listening to Cleveland Indians games on the radio. As old souls, they love listening to the oldies. 93.3 The Drive on the weekends is their favorite. Over time, their love has continued to grow, and led us to their sweet at-home engagement session in Eureka.

Then Comes and At-Home Engagement Session

Because Becca and Jeremy were hoping for an at-home engagement session, I ventured out to their beautiful piece of property in Eureka (with a stopover at nearby Eureka College) to photograph their love story. The couple were in their element, and it was so great to see them let loose and really show off their love and personalities for their engagement photos. We captured some candid photos of the couple laughing, as well as a few favorite posed shots. Every photo is one that these lovebirds will be able to look back on and see the love they share radiating from the frame!

Becca and Jeremy are looking forward to their February wedding at the Cannery. Becca loves dressing up, so she’s excited for everyone to look their best and to show off her gorgeous gown. Other than that, the couple is ready to seal their love in front of all their family and friends. It’s sure to be an incredible day!

So I ventured out to their beautiful piece of property in Eureka (with a stopover at nearby Eureka College) to photograph their love story. Shortly after the two met, Jeremy invited Becca to a bonfire at his house, a party. But when she showed up, there was no bonfire, and no other guests. She walked straight into the house (it was a party, right?) and they ended up talking for a long while before going out for a drink. The rest is history.

After about a month of dating, Jeremy made sushi for dinner, and I asked him to tell me about his family. He talked for the next two hours about his growing up. As unique as his childhood was, it mirrored my dad’s exactly. They grew up about an hour away in Northeast Ohio. That night I knew that Jeremy would someday be my husband.

It was meant to be when no matter how goofy I may be, Becca would love me unconditionally. No matter what was going on in my life, Becca loved me just the same, if not more than before. She not only ‘tolerated’ my quirky mannerisms and personality, but welcomed it.
