Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Blickensderfer! This winter, Ali and Nick embarked on their newest life adventure in a timeless December wedding ceremony. Their day was everything you could want in a wedding – elegant, romantic, and full of joy.

High School Sweethearts

Ali and Nick met in high school through mutual friends. Nick immediately noticed how gorgeous Ali was, while Ali could tell right away that Nick had a great sense of humor and they would have a lot of fun together. They were friends first before it became romantic, and now they have been together forever. They had no idea then that one day they would be tying the knot in a December wedding! Throughout their relationship, Ali has grown to love her man even more. He would do anything for her, she doesn’t even have to ask, and he will go out of his way to do something to make her day better. Nick loves that even on his worst day, his beautiful partner still puts a smile on his face when they are together.

As a couple, they like to go out in the city and try new restaurants and bars. Both enjoy going out with friends, but are also content spending a Friday night watching dateline. They remain best friends and do everything together. The best relationships are built on strong friendships, and there’s no doubt that these two lovebirds are in it for the long haul.

December Wedding Celebration

These high school sweethearts celebrated the next chapter in their love story at a December wedding ceremony. Their winter wedding was full of nods to tradition, while maintaining a romantic elegance that far exceeded their dreams. From Ali’s stunning, sleek gown with a plunging neckline to the classic BlackTux tuxes the men wore, their celebration oozed with style. While there was a Christmas vibe in the air, the décor was focused on greenery and candlelight with lots of white florals. On their special day, the newlyweds were happy to be surrounded by all of their best friends, who were part of the wedding party. Family and friends joined in the party, creating a perfect and memorable event. Everything about their day felt luxurious and beautiful.

We were focused on capturing a mixture of posed and candid photos. Specifically, the happy couple wanted some shots that showed their personalities and how much fun they have together. Luckily, they made my job easy, as Ali and Nick are always having fun together!
